Just to make life all the merrier for DX7/TX7/TF1 owners in netland my
next 6 postings will add a further 960 patches to the global archive.
These are from the official UK DX Owners Club TX7 cassette distribution
made to club members a couple of years back and represent some of the
better offerings from this side of the atlantic.
The patches are all 4096 bytes long and are thus headerless and without
checksum and trailer, and conform to the input required by Glenn Scott's
'bp' program posted recently. In this form you should be able to wrap
them up into whatever format your local synth loader expects.
If this reaches Glenn Scott then they should be incorporated into the
main DX archives.
Hmm, if it takes 10 seconds to audition and dismiss a patch that may be
unsuitable for local consumption we are currently talking in terms of
over 19 hours continuous experimentation. When there are a number of
really useful patches lurking in there somewhere which require audition
and performance checking we are talking about a lot of time here !!!!!!
I may be able to put these (and the main archive) onto Atari SS/DS
format 3.5 disks if needs be, please E-Mail for address.
Enjoy ;-)
